"Worry
is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but never gets you
anywhere." |
We go through our
entire life for the most part reacting to events and situations as they
occur but never planning for it. We get married, have children, go through
the treadmill of life, and wake up to a midlife crisis
wondering whatever happened to our dreams and aspirations that we had as
young adults. There are three ways in which this scenario plays out.
1. The person when faced with midlife crisis finds everyone and
everything else but himself at fault and goes down the slippery slope.
2. The person is not sure who to blame or what to do, his pent up
frustrations are kept deep within himself, he will not share it with
anyone, and will continue to live a grumpy existence for the rest of his
life.
3. The person who is pro-active, takes responsibility for the good and
the bad that happen to him, is not easily discouraged, has a good handle
on his self esteem, is acutely aware of the vagaries of life yet finds
sustenance from within to face all the challenges. He is the person who
does not blame anyone, but is always looking for solutions to a better
tomorrow. This is the person who can crest with each new wave and has
the qualities that everyone looks up to.

scenario in life? It is never too late to change

"Today’s decisions are tomorrow’s realities."
Past performance is not a guarantee
of future performance. Investment return and principal value of an
investment will fluctuate, and an investor's shares when redeemed, may be
worth more or less than their original cost. Investors must bear in
mind that inherent in investments are the risks of fluctuating prices and
the uncertainty of dividends, rates of return and yield. |
